Fibro or ???

 I have been told by an osteopath that he thinks I dont have Fibro, but ME (CFS).
He insists Fibro is a very specific condition and often tagged onto patients with CFS who have muscle pain.
Anyone encountered this please...

How will we help each other if we all keep shtum??

I really might just let this go.  I dont think it is of any interest to anyone, or....
It isnt beng found.  Either way, my health being what it is, keepin one blog is hard, let alone 3.
I wanted to keep this and the migraine away from my main blog, because I don't want to be a "headache" or pain in the ass.

If anyone actually reads this, and yes I know it isn't kept up that much, but  might be if I got a bit of encouragement from time to time...IF anyone reads it and feels prompted to comment, please do.

At last a possible breakthrough. Is it a cause?

Pain in the neck

I get sick of my neck and jaw hurting.
It worsens with the migraine, but is pretty constant anyway.
Tried all sorts of sleeping positions,no change.

Right now I aching head to toe.
Used the Wii machine for some bowling.
I will pay for that for a few days yet.

I hate my muscles.

Swine Flu

I am sick of hearing about his with the half information they give us.
I think it might be better if they told people to be worried, then they might take better hygiene precautions.

People are dying from this thing and there is a wonderful idea to have Swine Flu parities, to get it over with. That's fine for the really healthy people, but who might you pass it on to. AND do you know if you have an underlying health problem??

I am desperate not to get it. I just don't need any more migraines.
when I had the flu at Christmas i had a terrible head for days.
Also with the Fibro I might get it worse with a lowered immune system....
Again the flu pulled me down for weeks....
Will somebody please level with us all....

Pain in the neck

I am so sick of this awful pain that runs down the side of my neck.
It reacts with migraine, but cant figure which is cause and which effect.
I am sure it is linked to the Fibro but no idea who to ask and what can be done.
Pain killers don't hit it, not even Triptans.....
Anyone??

I joined twitter...it is aptly named and I cant say I get much out of it.
BUT, there are a number of people on there who apparently scan the web and post all they find on a daily basis regarding Fibro etc.

Try it. I have learned a bit and a feeling up to date.

At last a real life person. (as opposed to virtual)

Yesterday totally by accident, (or was it synchronicity?), I met the first living person who lives anywhere near me who also has Fibro.
We met by chance when i offered a lawn mower on the Freecycle site.
We had a good chat on the phone and it was good to speak to someone who actually understands what this lousy illness is like.

She has her own forum which can be found at www.fibromyalgiachatandfun.freeforums.org.
We need to give this waste of living time a better/higher profile.
I think there might be safety in numbers.

CFS/ME.

Well I thought it was about time to make another posting on the blog no one reads.
I wondered whether people just don't have any of these illnesses.
Well I know that isn't true.
So I guess my blog is just not interesting enough.
Well it would be more interesting if I felt anyone actually read it.
So here's the deal.
Read it and post and tel me what we should be talking about.
And lets do it.
These illnesses are the pits and there is not enough creedence given nor enough help or understanding.]
the more we all band together the more difference it might make.

I went to a migraine day and found even more people who have migraine. and IBS, AND
Fibro/ME/CFS.
The more comments I can get from people who can relate to this crossover the better.
I do know people read this blog, but no one comments.
I don't understand why, I don't write it often because of that, but would love to do more to help us all.
There is a connection between these conditions, I and the people I met are sure of it.
Let's pull together and see if we can help the "experts" and push for more research.
Its the Neuros we need I think....
